Benelli 900 sei

The 6-6 is off a 750 Sei. I made up some rear mounting brackets from 25x3mm stainless steel to suit the 900, and it all fits OK. The photos were taken during the fit-up process, and the pipes are finished with silver paint as I received them. I've taken them off again now to fill a couple of little dents/scratches with bronze and grind/polish back to a smooth finish, then get them re-chromed. The centre stand sits lower and scrapes way too easily. The 750 must have a different shaped stand. If I stick with the 6-pipe system, I'll have to remove the stand. Maybe I'll make up a custom one that tucks away better.

The bike came with a Marving 6-2 system when I bought it. It sounds nice but I prefer the look of the 6-6

There's no difference in performance as far as I can tell. Carb jetting is OK with either system. But the Benelli 6-6 system is very much quieter than the Marving.
